Landscape Design & Build · Serving Minnetrista, MN Working in Minnetrista
Minnetrista wraps the western bays of Lake Minnetonka with large wooded lots, horse and hobby acreage, and new construction along the county roads, and we design and build the patios, pools, retaining walls and complete landscapes that fit those properties. Our nearest completed project is a short drive away in Maple Plain, a pool backyard framed in natural stone, and it is the best preview of how we work on a larger lot.
Our family-owned team has spent 37+ years building patios, pools, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fire features, retaining walls and complete landscapes across the Twin Cities. Every Minnetrista project is designed in 3D first and built by one accountable crew - on schedule and clearly communicated.
Minnetrista sits at the west end of Lake Minnetonka, with shoreline on Halsted Bay and Jennings Bay, Lake Minnetonka Regional Park and Gale Woods Farm inside the city limits, and a mix of lake lots, wooded acreage and newer homes along County Road 110 and Highway 7. Mound and St. Bonifacius are the neighbors, and much of the housing is on larger lots that were farmed or wooded until recently.
That mix changes the work. Lake lots here fall under the shoreland rules that limit hard surface and set structure setbacks from the water, so a pool or patio near the shore is placed inside those limits from the first sketch; our lake home landscaping page covers how. Acreage and new-build lots usually need grading and drainage first, because the heavy clay that runs through this part of Hennepin and Carver counties holds spring water near the surface, and the landscape plan has to move it before a patio or lawn goes in.
Our office and showroom are at 3520 Lavern Ave N in Lake Elmo, about 41 miles from Minnetrista as the crow flies. We have not published a project in Minnetrista yet; the closest completed work is Hamptons in the Heartland in Maple Plain, MN (about 5 miles), The Sustainable Modern in Shakopee, MN (about 14 miles), The Home Resort in Shakopee, MN (about 14 miles), each labeled with the city it was built in.
