Founded in 1989 in Stillwater, MN, we began with a focus on retaining walls and paver patios. Over the years, we’ve grown and evolved, expanding our expertise to include 3D landscape design, comprehensive build services, and both commercial and residential excavation.

In his free time, he enjoys family walks and playing golf.

As co-owner of Schifsky Companies and Carson's older brother, Colton has been involved in the family business his entire life. He wears many hats, including project manager, estimator, equipment operator, and logistics coordinator, using his diverse skills to help drive success. Outside of work, Colton enjoys spending time with his wife, Alex, and their two golden retrievers, Harley and Rosie. He also loves fishing, working on vehicles, and being outdoors.

I had Schifsky compete a patio for me over the summer of 2023. I was impressed with the crew. They worked together as a well rehearsed team. Tasks that needed to be accomplished, were completed by each member who knew their responsibility. I watched as one installed paver didn’t meet their expectation. They pulled back other pavers to reset the one that just didn’t look right. That is Teamwork.

I would recommend Schifsky Co for all landscaping/patio etc. We met with Carson in the spring came up with a plan Made our selections everything was perfect! I have built 3 homes out with pools etc… this company is by far the best I have worked with. Carson crew came in got things done just like they said NO delays!! Carson Schifsky has been doing our snow removal this winter. We could not be more pleased with the quality of his work. He shows up quickly after every snowfall, and quickly and expertly deals with the snow. This winter, we are especially grateful!

Carson is a prompt responder - to calls, to snowstorms, and he communicates clearly and regularly via email as well. The Schifsky team is doing a great job keeping our driveway and large corner lot and steps free of snow so we and others can step safely. My husband says it's like Christmas morning when he wakes up and all the snow is cleared for him!
